Proper aftercare is essential for the best healed results.
For the First 48 Hours:
Keep the brow area clean using a dampened disposable cotton pad with preboiled, cooled down water,
this is to remove any bacteria and lymphathic fluid from the freshly broken skin.
Avoid touching the brows with unwashed hands.
During Healing (7–14 Days)
Apply your recommended aftercare balm sparingly as instructed.
Do not pick, scratch, or remove any flaking skin.
Avoid getting the brows excessively wet or submerging them in water - Keep showers short and avoid soaking the area.
Avoid makeup directly on the brows until they have completely healed on the surface.
Avoid excessive sweating, swimming, saunas, steam rooms, and hot tubs.
Avoid direct sun exposure and always protect healed brows with Spf 50 when exposed to high UV.
Do not use exfoliating products, retinol, AHAs, BHAs, or active skincare on the brow area.
Healing Expectations
Your brows will appear darker immediately after treatment.
Mild redness and tenderness are normal for the first 24–48 hours.
Around days 4–10, the brows may begin to flake or peel. This is a normal part of healing.
Once the flaking has finished, the brows may appear lighter before the colour gradually returns over the following few weeks.
Final healed results are typically visible after 6–8 weeks, when your perfecting appointment can be carried out if required.
Long-Term Care
Apply SPF 50 daily to help prevent premature fading.
Avoid excessive sun exposure where possible, wear SPF50 or Sun block when you're on holiday, in the sun etc.
Maintain your brows with colour boost appointments as recommended by your practitioner.
Follow a good skincare routine, but avoid regular exfoliation directly over the brow area to help prolong pigment retention.
Do not use retinol, acid peels or active anti aging products on the tattoo area.
Following these instructions will help your SPMU enhancements heal beautifully and give you the best possible long-term results.
