Eyebrow Laser Tattoo Removal Pre-Care
To ensure your treatment is carried out safely and effectively, please follow these pre-care instructions before your appointment:
Attend your patch test at least 48 hours before your first treatment and complete your consultaion form.
Take an antihistamine on the day of your laser removal treatment to refuse skin irritation.
Avoid direct sun exposure and sunbeds for 2 weeks before your appointment. Do not attend with sunburnt skin or tanned skin.
Stop using Retinol, Retin-A, Tretinoin, AHAs, BHAs, glycolic acid, salicylic acid, and other exfoliating skincare products around the brow area for 7 days before treatment.
Avoid chemical peels, microneedling, and other laser treatments to the area for at least 2–4 weeks beforehand.
Do not wax, thread, or tint your eyebrows for 5–7 days before treatment as this can cause your skin to be more sensitive.
Arrive with clean skin and avoid wearing makeup, fake tan, or heavy skincare products around the eyebrows.
Avoid alcohol for 24 hours before your appointment.
Limit caffeine on the day of treatment, as it can increase skin sensitivity.
Stay well hydrated before your appointment.
Inform your practitioner of any changes to your medical history, medications, pregnancy, breastfeeding, or any recent skin treatments.
If you have recently had anti-wrinkle injections or dermal fillers around the treatment area, please let your practitioner know, as your appointment may need to be rescheduled.
Following these guidelines will help minimise the risk of adverse reactions and ensure the safest and most effective laser tattoo removal treatment.

Preparing your lips properly helps achieve the best healed results and a more comfortable treatment.
7 Days Before Your Appointment
Stay well hydrated by drinking plenty of water.
Moisturise your lips daily with a nourishing lip balm.
Avoid excessive sun exposure, sunburn, and tanning.
Avoid chemical peels, laser treatments, or strong exfoliants around the mouth.
48 Hours Before
Avoid alcohol.
Reduce caffeine intake on the day of your appointment if possible.
Avoid taking blood-thinning medications or supplements (such as aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, or vitamin E) unless prescribed by your doctor. Never stop prescribed medication without medical advice.
If You Are Prone to Cold Sores
Lip blush can trigger a cold sore outbreak. If you have ever had a cold sore, even years ago, we strongly recommend consulting your GP or pharmacist about taking an antiviral medication before and after your appointment. This can significantly reduce the risk of an outbreak affecting your healed results.
On the Day of Your Appointment
Arrive with clean, makeup-free lips.
Ensure your lips are well moisturised and not cracked or peeling.
Eat a light meal beforehand to help maintain stable blood sugar levels.

It is important that you have this treatment no less than 4 weeks prior to and 2 weeks after a sun holiday involving high sun exposure, as the tattoo will not yet be healed. While on holiday, please cover the treated area with high-factor sunblock.
• If you would like a skin test, please arrange this when booking your appointment. It is optional and a precaution in case of pigment allergies. This must be done at least 24 hours before treatment.
• You cannot have this treatment if you are pregnant.
• You must be over 18 to undergo this treatment.
• Do not have your brows tinted or have brow lamination less than 2 weeks before your appointment - the strong chemicals on your skin could interfere with the implantation of the pigment.
• If you wear eyelash extensions, do not book an application or infill within a week of your eyebrow tattoo. The strong fumes from the glue may cause infection, and your lash technician may touch the healing brow tattoo
• Avoid caffeine on the day of your treatment, as this increases your heart rate and blood flow and can cause you to bleed during the procedure and push the pigment out of the skin as it's being implanted.
• Please do not drink alcohol 24 hours before or on the day of treatment, as it thins the blood, making treatment difficult and potentially preventing pigment from settling. Aspirin is also a blood thinner, so do not take it on the day of your treatment.
• If you are on blood-thinning tablets or antibiotics, wait at least a week after finishing the course. Antibiotics may remove the pigment, resulting in a faded tattoo.
• You cannot have a cosmetic tattoo while taking Accutane; this medication thins the skin, increasing sensitivity and affecting healing, potentially causing scarring.
• Do not have Botox or fillers 2 weeks prior to or 2 weeks after treatment, as this may affect healing and eyebrow positioning due to swelling.
• Please contact me regarding any medications you are taking before booking your appointment.
